* Your policy provides limited coverage when surface water comes into your home from a human-made source such as sprinkler systems, garden hoses and swimming pools. However, if the release of water from these sources doesn’t occur on your property, the resulting water damage is not covered. Your policy excludes water damage from all other sources when water comes into your home. Your policy excludes water damage due to sewer back-up, septic back-up and sump overflow unless special coverage is purchased for this type of loss. Please see your agent for details on this coverage.
** Equipment Breakdown coverage, otherwise known as Electrical Appliance coverage, only provides coverage for equipment that needs repairs or replacement due to sudden damage caused by a mechanical, electrical or pressure system breakdown. This coverage will pay for costs to repair or replace up to $100,000 once a $500 deductible has been met. Refer to the policy document for a detailed list of covered items.
*** Coverage provided by adding the Flash Flooding endorsement is optional.This endorsement does not satisfy mandatory flood insurance coverage should it be required by your federally regulated lender for your home mortgage or loan.
